Information collection

We collect limited personally identifiable information from users of the Site, including email addresses, IP addresses, and other data submitted voluntarily through contact forms or other interactions on the Site. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share this information with third parties, except as required by law or as expressly disclosed in this Privacy Policy.

How We Collect the Data

We collect billing Information including name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, company name and VAT number. When you place an order or take out a paid service with us, we will issue you an invoice for the goods or services. We use Xero as our billing platform which requires us to add your billing information to their system. All data is kept in accordance with their privacy policies which can be found here – Privacy Notice 

As part of the signup process, we collect information required in order to run, manage and maintain the service including customer Information such as name, company name, email address, location, job function, company type and your newsletter preference. Data is stored in line with this privacy policy.

We use a third party provider to maintain our mailing lists and to manage our marketing emails. Contact information including address, emails address, company name and phone numbers may be stored on their servers which are hosted in the United States. Marketing Purposes

With your permission and/or where permitted by law, we may use your personal data for marketing purposes, which may include contacting you by email or telephone with information, news, and offers on our products and services. You will not be sent any unlawful marketing or spam. We will always work to fully protect your rights and comply with our obligations under the Data Protection Legislation and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, and you will always have the opportunity to opt-out. We will always obtain your express opt-in consent before sharing your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes and you will be able to opt-out at any time.

Marketing and Opt-in information

We retain the information that you used to sign up for our newsletter for as long as you remain subscribed.

How and Where Do You Store or Transfer My Personal Data?

We use specific contracts with external third parties that are approved by the European Commission for the transfer of personal data to third countries. These contracts require the same levels of personal data protection that would apply under the Data Protection Legislation.

Where we transfer your data to a third party based in the US, the data may be protected if they are part of the EU-US Privacy Shield. Share IT reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time without notice. This may be necessary, for example, if the law changes, or if we change our business in a way that affects personal data protection.
